Brent and Josceline contacted us to photograph their wedding and when they told us that it was a the Dragon’s Lodge on Gabriola Island, we knew that we were in for a treat. As Josceline described what she had planned I got really excited. There were so many details from her wedding that stood out as you can see by this massive blog post. The thing that I really loved about this wedding was the colours which were based on Dahlia flowers. I loved how every bridesmaids dresses were a different colour, that was awesome.  All the flowers for the event were donated by a local Dahlia farm that Josceline use to visit as a young girl. Brent and Josceline spent time and effort in consideration of every detail for their wedding which really shows through and added to guest enjoyment, including our own! The biggest thing about putting together a really nice wedding is the small details as it really ties the whole event together. “The devil is in the details” is something that I usually say when talking to brides-to-be and apparently that struck a cord with Josceline as she nailed it, and cursed me for it. Whooops!
