I recently had the opportunity to photograph a friend and his wonderful family. Neil is a fellow wedding photographer and a great  member of the photography community. I was not sure what write about in this post; There are so many aspects of this shoot we could talk about, such as Neils family and their infectious laughs that they share. We could also talk about our photographer community and the support that we get from each other and how that’s really important in this industry. Another topic would be how it’s really important to have trust in your photographer to produce great imagery. However instead of blathering on in a long winded post about all these topics, I think I’m just going to show you the pictures because I couldn’t help but smile ear to ear as I edited them. I hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I did making them.

I’ve known Veronica for a long time now. Like most, I’ve see her status on Facebook which have included fitness competitions. She contacted us about getting some shots done before her next competition as she wanted to remember the body she’s worked so hard for. I can tell you, she’s worked for her body. She told me about how hard she’s worked and I think I broke a sweat just listening to her. Theresa and I had fun working with her and she even brought her mom along, who was a blast!  You go Girl!

When Ellyn contacted me about doing a shoot for mothers day with her mom and sister, I was excited. I had no idea what was in store. She told me that they wanted to have a water fight, who was I to deny them. These ladies were a blast to shoot and mom made sure to give me a few shots with the water gun once I had put the camera down so I didn’t feel left out! How better to show your mom love than to soak her with water. This family rocks!

Spencer
