Projects – Vancouver Island Wedding Photographer https://brawns.ca/blog Creating classic and romantic images on the west coast Sun, 27 Jan 2013 18:30:31 +0000 en-US hourly 1 https://wordpress.org/?v=6.9.1 Nicole https://brawns.ca/blog/2012/03/10/nicole https://brawns.ca/blog/2012/03/10/nicole#comments Sat, 10 Mar 2012 18:42:28 +0000 http://brawns.ca/blog/?p=1399 I’ve started a personal project. While I can’t really tell you what it is yet, I can tell you that Nicole is involved. After we were done with the project images, we went for a walk at my favorite park in town. I decided to play a bit with this set in my processing. Sometimes photographers struggle to find their processing groove and keeping things consistent. I’m no different and struggle with this every shoot. I do however feel that I’m becoming more consistent with my light, camera and processing, I do feel the draw to try new things. Feel free to tell me what you think of this set in the comments, all comments are welcome. 😀

Crystal – Trash the Dress https://brawns.ca/blog/2011/07/11/crystal-trash-the-dress https://brawns.ca/blog/2011/07/11/crystal-trash-the-dress#comments Tue, 12 Jul 2011 03:31:24 +0000 http://brawns.ca/blog/?p=1145 A little while back we put out a trash the dress casting call. Crystal responded and was willing to do crazy things with her dress that most people wouldn’t dream of. While we didn’t take the shoot too far, we still had a blast. We wanted to showcase a wide variety of shots and tell a story. I found it very difficult to limit the amount of images for this post and I managed to get it down to 33ish, but that was the minimum I was able to do!  Funny story, Crystal actually attended our wedding years ago as a friends date, it’s a small world. The only real negative about the shoot was losing my iPhone to the rising water in the estuary. I dedicate this post to my fallen iPhone, Crystal for being a trooper and thanks to Adam Neil for carrying bags 🙂
