This post is very late and I’m just now catching up on blogging from this past summer. Sorry!!! I’ve know Kevin and Brita for years now, and you may remember their engagement session. Kevin and Brita are expecting a new baby and we cannot wait to meet him/her! Brita’s parents own the venue which made this a very special place to be. I love backyard weddings as I love being around a family setting. It helps to have a very talented cake maker in the family too. Alina made this elegant cake and also this past clients cake as well. This will be the most number of images in a blog post to date. The are many reasons for this, such as the killer location, stellar details, breathtaking ocean views, rain!, and many many more. I will let the images speak for the day. I never know what to say in these posts and I’m sure you’re itching to see the images. I’ve added some comments as well, which is a first for this blog. Shannon and Ashley – Married at Tigh-Na-Mara Parksville

I have to admit, this is my first lesbian wedding; after photographing this wedding I really hope it’s NOT my last! I’ve know Shannon for years now and I was sooo happy that I was not only able to attend as her photographer, but also as her friend. Now that I’ve gotten to know Ashley, I know that they are suited for each-other! I believe that people that have a sort of ying and yang personality thing going on are suited for each-other, the challenge of course is figuring out how to make it work. I know Shannon and Ashley ativan have this sorted all out and I see them being together forever.

Tign-na-mara is a fabulous venue, they really know how to take care of a wedding. Suzanne is awesome and the food is always extremely good. If you’re thinking of really bringing your guests into your ceremony, I highly recommend you contact Barbara Densmore (officiant). I have a hard time working the same weddings as Barbara because I always find myself getting lost in the ceremony! Seriously, call her!

Melissa and Wade Married – Parksville Wedding

Theresa and I had the utmost privilege to be able to attend the wedding of Wade and Melissa. We can’t say enough how much we love backyard weddings and when you have a backyard like this, look out! We really enjoyed ourselves and at times I found it hard not to get drawn into this event. This is usually the case when Barbara Densmore is leading the ceremony. There was a very strong sense of family and friendships that made this such a special buy diflucan medication day. The details were so personalized to this couple and it really just brought the whole day together. I really try not to make my blog posts over 50 images, but I was hard pressed to cover enough detail with the following 60+ images. Wade and Melissa, we wish you all the best in the future and thanks for having us be a part of your big day.

Kyle & Kristi – Married

We had the opportunity to first meet Kyle & Kristi on their engagement session. We knew right then that we were in for something special for their wedding. We love having the opportunity to work with couples prior to their wedding day as it really helps everyone feel comfortable together and get used to being in front of a camera, and Kyle and Kristi were no different. They listen to my poor nonsensical ramblings on how to move and pose and soon we were all working together which makes a big difference come wedding day. It was nice to see the guestbook that we made from their engagement session at their wedding, it fit right in with their decor!

Kyle and Kristi’s wedding took place at beautiful Tigh-Na-Mara Seaside Spa Resort & massage therapists Conference Centre. Their ceremony was touching, as both Kyle & Kristi wrote their own vows; we personally love when couples choose do do this as it adds such a personal touch. It had us both laughing and choking back the tears. The party that followed was loads of fun as this crowd really knows how to dance!

We said it once and we will say it again, your group of friends and family are a great group. Thank you for allowing us to spend such an important day with you (and your friends & family). We know you have a great future ahead of you. Here is to your happily ever after!
